Recently, PIONEER has signed project cooperation agreement with XinjiangTianye (Group) Co., Ltd on carbon monoxide purification technology. XinjiangTianye purchased a new carbon monoxide purification device to recycle ofcalcium carbide furnace exhaust, they will use Pressure Swing Adsorption technology(PSA) to synthetize of MEG by the separation of high purity CO, and this is thefirst  CO purification plant  that used in MEG synthesis with the calcium carbidefurnace exhaust currently in China. Xinjiang Tianye(Group) Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise in calcium carbide industry, and ithas made one million tons calcium carbide in 2010. The program which involves 28000Nm3/hof calcium carbide furnace exhaust is located in Industrial Zones of ShiHeZi inXinJiang province, and it will make 50,000 tons MEG. Supporting Devices of 200,000 t/y Glycol Project of Tongliao GEM Chemical Co., Ltd.

The 200,000 t/y glycol project of Tongliao GEM is the first new-type coal chemical project of China that produces glycol by the brown coal. It is a high-tech project promoted by the government and has been put into operation in 2010. PIONEER provides the 22,000Nm3/h CO device of  PSA purification , 42,000Nm3/h H2device of PSA purification and 20,000Nm3/h VPSA-O2 device to the project. These three sets of large-scale PSA devices have been stably operating since the start and indexes of the product gas meet the design requirement. It provides the 200,000 t/y glycol project of Tongliao GEM with stable and low-cost gas source to create favorable economic benefits to the customer.

Blast-furnace Oxygen-enriched Iron Manufacturing and Oxygen Generation Project of Wugang

The flow of the  VPSA-O2 device  provided by PIONEER to Wugang Sino-Canada Steel Co., Ltd. is 10,600Nm3/h and the purity is 80%. It is applied to the oxygen-enriched combustion of the Blast Furnace #1 (1,260m3) of Sino-Canada Steel. The blast-furnace oxygen enrichment technology has been commonly recognized by the industry as an effective way to reduce the production cost and elevate the economic benefit. It is analyzed by the expert that when the oxygen enrichment rate of the blast furnace reaches 2.5%, a ton of iron may save 40kg of coke and the annual output of steel may increase by over 90,000 tons. The  VPSA-O2 device  manufactured by the company is energy-saving and flexible in operation that it may assist the user in reducing the cost and strengthen the efficiency.

Supporting Devices of TDI Project of Yantai Juli Fine Chemical Co., Ltd.

TDI Project of Yantai Juli Fine Chemical Co., Ltd.  purifies CO and H2  from the water gas to synthesize TDI (toluene diisocyanate). Since the project generates the gas by the fixed bed, the generated raw material gas and nitrogen contain much methane, which makes the PSA purification of CO and H2 more difficult. The user formerly adopted the  PSA-CO/H2  device of another manufacturer, whose designed CO productivity is 1,000Nm3/h but the actual productivity is only 400-500Nm3/h, and the content of methane and nitrogen in the CO product largely exceeds the upper limit, thus resulting in great economic losses. PIONEER makes improvements to the PSA device, after which, the productivity is elevated by over 50% to 1500Nm3/h, various indexes meet the design requirement, the user's production demand is fulfilled and the comprehensive benefit of the enterprise is significant increased. Several times of production expansion of the enterprise adopt our products.

CO Device and PSA-H2 Device of Calcium Carbide Tail Gas Purification of Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co.,

The  PSA-CO  and H2 device provided by the company to the project of 50,000 t/y glycol synthesized by calcium carbide tail gas of Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co., Ltd. is successfully started for the first time, and the product CO is 6,000Nm3/h (purity>99%) and the product H2 is 16,000Nm3/h (purity>99.9%). PIONEER establishes the special project team consisting of skilled professional technicians and management personnel to guarantee the qualified and premium glycol product of Xinjiang Tianye (Group) Co., Ltd. It indicates that the key technology of  separation and purification of CO  by calcium carbide tail gas of China has been put into the large-scale industrialized application. It is the innovative achievement of the comprehensive utilization of tails gas energy and development of the recycling economy by our company and the user. In the first year of The China's 13th Five-Year Plan, several plants of manufacturing ethylene glycol from coal went into operation, and the capacity newly made to produce ethylene glycol increased rapidly. The Combustion Economy of Purifying CO from Blast Furnace Gas by Pressure Swing Adsorption

Abstract:  Owning to its low calorific value and combustion efficiency, a lot of blast furnace gas (BFG) is wasted in China. In this paper, pressure swing adsorption (PSA) technology was applied to purify BFG, which can improve the calorific value and combustion efficiency significantly. The technical feasibility, combustion efficiency and engineering economy analysis showed that BFG purified by PSA was the most effective way for energy saving and had a broad application prospect. The company provides the copper melting project of CNMC International Trade Co., Ltd. in Chambishi of Zambia with up to 8,000Nm3/h  VPSA-O2 device , the purity of the oxygen generated by which exceeds 90%. It is the largest scale of VPSA-O2device exported by China by now, and all indexes meet the design requirement. The Phase II enlargement engineering of the copper melting project in Chambishi of Zambia goes on well.
